Psalm 33: The Earth is Full of the Steadfast Love of the LORD

Today’s Bible reading is Psalm 33. Take a moment to reflect on verses 4 and 5.

For the word of the LORD is upright,
and all his work is done in faithfulness.
He loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD.

What a great lens through which to look at life today: the earth is FULL of the steadfast love of the LORD.

From the Sun in the heavens to deep beneath the solid ground on which we stand, the earth is FULL of the steadfast love of the LORD.

From the squirrels making their final preparations for Winter to every human being created in God’s image, the earth is FULL of the steadfast love of the LORD.

From the blessing of friendship, to the institution of marriage, to the church of Jesus Christ, the earth is FULL of the steadfast love of the LORD.

Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you. (Psa 33:22)
