A Little Dose of Fertilizer for Your Prayers Today
Today’s Bible reading is Genesis 6 and Colossians 4.
Take a moment to think about Colossians 4:12:
Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.
What a great little dose of fertilizer for your prayers today!
Pray that you yourself would stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God. That’s a great personal prayer.
Parents can pray this for their children: that they may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.
Shepherds of local churches can pray this for the souls they are overseeing: that those we are leading would stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.
Epaphras lived 2,000 years ago and we don’t know a lot about him, but we do know that he struggled on behalf of others in his prayers. Let’s be encouraged by his example and follow in his footsteps today.
