Today’s Bible reading is Psalm 37.
Why give everything you have in the worship of God today? Consider a little bit of input from Psalm 37.
The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom,
and his tongue speaks justice.
The law of his God is in his heart;
his steps do not slip. (Psa 37:30-31)
Today is an opportunity to hear and meditate and sing and pray God’s law deeper into your heart.
Trust in the LORD, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
Delight yourself in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psa 37:3-4)
Today is an opportunity to delight in the fount of every blessing.
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him… (Psa 37:7)
Today is an opportunity to be reminded–in his time, by his will, to his glory.
Let’s give everything we have in the worship of God today.
